My new tail light, taken from a CBR1100

i no its not a yamaha, but i would love some feedback, thanks :)

Honda CBR1100 LED Tail light on a 2002 Hornet 600 this also has built in indicators aswell

had to be completly re wired to work, but it was worth it :)

i will make a video soon

Sorry Shokz, the light looks fine, but not a fan of built in indicators, dont think they are legal, shouldnt be if they are IMO :thumbdown:

they are very clear mate, otherwise i wouldnt have them

they are legal, my local dealer who does my mot's said they are fine

You say they are clear, but when its pissing down on the motorway and youre coming off at a junction, braking as well as indicating...cant be all that clear then!

That doesnt look too bad at all Dave.

Do u have any pics of it in operation?

My rear LED cluster have built in indicators too, but they are clearly differentiated, and are visible from a distance as indicators even when braking. Looking at yours, Im not sure they will offer that obvious difference.

Make sure that you see it yourself from a distance. Tape the brake lever to the bars, indicate, then walk back away from it to a good distance and be sure in your mind that its obvious that you are indicating.

If so, Im all for it. If not, I would add some separate indicators too, just to be sure.

Good lad.

Get some Micro ones as they will not clutter it up at all.

Get a vid of them working now its dark. Im interested to see how it looks.

but i been checking the lights out and stuff and they are very clear so im pretty happy with them
