Sorry all sounds silly but how do you lift the seat off a DT250MX(1R7)

Only got the bike yestrday for restauration and I been looking for a catch or something but to no available :shrug:

    There is a bolt on either side towards the back, (May be behind a sidepanel) remove these, lift back of seat slightly and then slide it back. what year is your bike? if you PM me your email address i will send you a parts list
