Posted November 5, 200816 yr Hi all, i have a 2001 TDM 850 and would like to ask that when i pushed the start button i get a loud bang from the exhaust and the engine did not start at this morning. After several seconds i attempted to start again and it started immediately and all was normal after that. In the past couple of weeks the same situation had happened three times after not using the bike for 3 or 4 days. Can anyone has an idea why this occurs? Thanks in advance.

HI/ Sounds like the fuel is running thru [ float sticking] turn off petcock b4 shut-off c if improves..
