fostersice Posted October 13, 2008 Share Posted October 13, 2008 ok so i have just picked up a 2003 yamaha r6 now this bike was 6months old when it went down the road. its been sitting in a garage for 4years un started i picked the bike up tried to start it nothing so hocked up some jump leads turns over but will not start so i have emptyed the fuel out and replaced it as im thinking 4 year old fuel will be dead still only turning over? please help. Sounds like the 4 year old fuel has turned to jelly in the carbs.....thus blocking them. A good carb clean out should help. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
