Posted October 7, 200816 yr Hello,ive just bought a little 1997 yamaha cw50 to get me to and from work but im having a knightmare derestricting it.the variator washer has been removed there are no restrictions in the exhaust but something is still resticting it,ive been told that there is a restriction in the cdi unit,i only have 5 wires (no red wire to cut),ive been told you have to open the cdi unit and cut a wire inside...is this true? cant find any help on the net so i thought id try my luck on here.any help would be appriciated .. thanks lee...
