anyone know what the tyre pressure should be on a yam xj550

Funny, having had 2 of these bikes i know they were only released between 1981 & 1983. The tyre pressures on those were front 28psi rear 30psi. But that depends on the tyres fitted.

I've had 3 of 'em.......with Dunlops fitted, I ran 'em @ 32psi up front & out back.

my bad, it is actually a 1983 Y reg.

I've had 3 of 'em.......with Dunlops fitted, I ran 'em @ 32psi up front & out back.

Personally I ran mine with 30psi front & 34 rear. Mind you i was carrying the (now ex) missus around at the time.
