:?: ive just bought a p reg DTR and the person i bought it off has fully opened the power valve and at low revs its a bit jerkey does anyone know what this could be cheers luke

uhhh...the power valve been locked fully open...

I'd have a look into that powervalve......might just need a good cleaning :?

that's just the way they go mate. not too nice with it open, crap down low but quite fast up top

im afriad they are all like that... i got an S reg 1998 one with the valve open and its crap at the bottom but when she revs.... fuck she goes good

i had a little go on her earlier gave it sum beans round the corner and the back end came out, so ive got nothin to worry about then with the power valve
