Rear Wheel spacing problem on a 1982 Virago 920 –

I have noticed that the rear wheel is very close to the frame on the left side [shaft side] upper portion

On my 1982 Virago, maybe an 1/8”.

Looks like it could be trouble.

It does not hit it.

How could I space the wheel further away from the side frame at the top?

I noticed on a 1982 Virago 750 the tire space was about a ¼” away from the top frame.

How do we fix this problem?

I would appreciate any assistance .
