Guest jim pierce Posted September 14, 2008 Share Posted September 14, 2008 hi i have a 1981 xs 650 with 7000 miles on it. i put on a new clutch cable adjusted it at. the handle bar and on left side of motor. i went for a ride and now i miss 2 and 4th gear almost all the time at 60 mph. the clutch starts to slip . rpm s go up i do not know what to do now . it ran great before i changed the cable thanks for all your help jim.
