I set up a friend's GSXR600 recently and it makes a MASSIVE difference. He got the settings from the Suzuki forum (not sure which one though). He's on his honeymoon right now, but I can ask him when he gets back

The settings are only a guide though, you have to set it up for how you want the bike to feel.

Tyre pressures also make a difference to the level of grip!
