Posted September 3, 200816 yr The seat length on my 1970 DT1c is about 22" . I have noticed that some of these models seem to have a shorter seat (maybe 18"). I like the looks of the shorter seat and I need to replace the cover and foam on my bike. Does anyone know if I can install a shorter seat on my bike, if the hinges are in the same place. If I stay with the 22 inch seat where can I buy a whole assembly.....any ideas?
