sschering
I got the XS400 out, washed it up and went for a spin around the lawn.. My wife won't let me past the driveway till I get my endorsement. It's running great.. needs a new seat cover though.

XSwheels
Hey your XS looks good, you only need two things. First a new seat cover, then obviously a new wife.
sschering
Hey your XS looks good, you only need two things. First a new seat cover, then obviously a new wife. No need for a new wife.. Hey she's getting me a new helmet for my birthday. She's the one who found the bike and was OK with me getting it. Plus in my state if you are caught riding without a motorcycle endorsement your bike gets impounded.
G-man
Plus in my state if you are caught riding without a motorcycle endorsement your bike gets impounded. Nazis! Nice bike, dude. Anyone care to 'xplain why they made the 360 and the 400, though? I mean, damn, 40cc difference...that's like what, an extra 1-legged horse? sschering
Looks beautiful friend! Any plans for a full restoration!? I plan on doing more work over the winter.. I'd like to strip it down, power coat the frame, trees, chain guard and swing arm. Also clean up the wheels. It'll also need new mufflers soon. I can't decided what to do about paint.. the original paint is a bit dull and the emblems are not so hot.. BUT it is original paint..

CharlyG
With regards to paint. Do what i do, Experiment with a photo editing suite (Adobe photoshop) you can easily replace the colour without getting any spray cans out. Then you can really choose what you want! Sounds like you got big plans, i personally would love to read your project on this site as it goes along!!! Parts are f**king hard to come by though :S (I know im feeling it, even ebay is hard)
