Hi Folks,

I'm new to this forum and just hope someone can help me with a chronic problem on my 52 plate TMAX. I've owned it from new and when the bike is left to stand for some time (couple of weeks) it can be very difficult to start. The starter turns the motor over but it takes ages to fire......my initial thoughts are that fuel might be leaking/evaporating from the carb float bowls during this time and consequently when i try to start the starter has to prime the carbs all over again....

sometimes the poor battery can't manage this extended cranking and i have to rest it up and put the batery on a charger...this fault is spoiling an otherwise great machine....

i'd be very grateful if anyone can give me any ideas....

thanks in advance Andy
