Posted August 20, 200816 yr i just bought a xs 400 special thats requires a little work but i can only seem to find parts for the xs 400 i was wondering if i can put those parts on my bike.

It depends, many are interchangable and some are not. It really depends on the part your looking for. Frankly I have had very good luck getting parts for my "special" on ebay. Just because it doesn't say special doesn't mean it's not.
