yoda
Well you need to clean out all of your fuel system, including the carbs, as you must have blocked jets.

Moderator Airhead Posted August 19, 2008 Moderator Share Posted August 19, 2008 Every year i put my Bandit away for winter and every spring its like this, will only run and idle with a little choke, blip the throttle and it dies. All i do is warm it up properly then its 'Right as Ninepence' could this be the same? Might be wise to check your plug gaps as well, It they're too big it wont help. junker
yeah, just happened with my FZ; before the carbs started leaking... i just let it idle for like five minutes and just rolled one finger over the throttle a little bit more and then more and now it revs fine. Probably a plugged jet needed time to be cleared.
