thecamel
Hi, Can anyone help! I have just bought a 2007 R6 and found the biting point of the clutch at the very end. Is there anyway to adjust this as i would prefer the biting point soon as i let out the clutch lever. Thanks
Petey
Hi, Can anyone help! I have just bought a 2007 R6 and found the biting point of the clutch at the very end. Is there anyway to adjust this as i would prefer the biting point soon as i let out the clutch lever. Thanks There is an adjusting wheel at the clutch lever. Turning it counter clockwise will lessen the play in the lever and the clutch will engage sooner. If you don't have a service manual for it, you can get a pdf one here: http://www.r6messagenet.com/forums/pdf/2007_R6_Service.pdf

junker
ya, what he said; i know that on my bike (FZ600, the great grandpop to the r6) actually on the clutch lever there is a relatively big metal wheel, and a hollow bolt that surrounds the clutch line that goes through the wheel thing, loosen the wheel to allow adjustment & turn the bolt clcockwise for less line play and counter clockwise for more line play. Good Luck
