waywardbluesman Posted August 14, 2008 Share Posted August 14, 2008 Hi all - I was wondering if anyone knew if the fuel tanks from the 82 XS400 Secas, Maxims, and Specials were interchangable with respect to mounting to the frame and fitting the contour of the front of the seat. I ask because I own an '82 XS400RJ Seca and was thinking about replacing the fuel tank with one from a Special. I saw a picture where it looked as though someone had done the same thing (and it actually looked normal) but had taken off the plastic side covers that normally fit below the seat.
