hello all.

i have a poblem with my xt600

have him for 3 months and spend houres working on him.

now the motor turns nice, but if i put him in 1st or 2 nd the motor stops running. even with the clutch held in.

i found the killerswitch allready and bypassed it ( hope that will do ) i found out that the switch gave no contact when pulled out and broke the contact when was pushed in , so i shunted it

anyone that had the same problem ???

Is there a side stand switch? Check that this is working or bypass the switch.

yes there is a side stand switch

i bypassed it by connecting the two ends of teh cable together

but still the same result

does somebody has a plan of the wires, than i can figure out where the problem is,

i suppose that it is in thi sdirrection i should look
