im after any info regarding my brothers dt 125 he has just bought.

the exhaust is putting out quite a bit of blue smoke and making a spluttering sound, it has a dep pipe fitted and i was wondering if anybody had experienced similar problems, im hoping it just needs setting up correctly and wondered if it can it be easily done. any help will be much appreciated.

if the fuel is premix then maybe the ratio of petrol to two stroke oil is wrong, that can cause alot of smoking. The ratio of two stroke oil to petrol should be stated on teh side of the two stroke oil container/bottle.

if you are using premix then 50 to 1 is as lean as you can go, if you are using auto lube = oil pump then you need to line up the mark on oil pump then on the carb there is a phillips head screw you undo this then turn the throttle till the indention mark is visible though where the phillips screw was
