July 31, 200816 yr You can't derestrict them because they are not restricted to start with. but The exhaust is worth replacing to get a little more noise and power.

July 31, 200816 yr Author thanks jock yea it sounds the same as a ybr lol yes you can derstrict them as i have been told, the exhaust makes no difference apart from making more noise so it aint that, you may gain smoother acceleration but its how the flow through the air box the fuel added and this is where the power comes from, not the exhaust.

October 5, 200816 yr Hi sorry if this a bit off point but its slightly related and i need a little help. I've got a yamaha R125 YZF (as my first bike so no very little about them) I've done just under 2000 miles on it but was ridding them other day and was told i had whats called a "high speed seize". At the time it had a non standard exaust on it, the air box had also been changed if i get the STANDARD parts refitted do you think yamaha will fix it for free?
