Recently, my 2002 YZF600R has been hesitating off idle. Once I accelerate, the hesitation goes away. I was told this could be from bad/old fuel. I added some fuel additive to the tank and burned through the remainder. With fresh gas, it still occurred. I changed my fuel filter, cleaned the air filter and drained the carb float chambers. Still has the hesitation. Any suggestions?

Just read online that this could be a battery issue. Mine is the original. Possible?

more likely worn emulsion tubes, causing it to be rich as you open the throttle.

means a carb strip down and the main jets replaced. they go oval with too much wear and dump fuel in.
