Hey guys, I bought an R1 2000 model 2 weeks ago and its been running really well until I let the bike sit for 2 days. The day i bought the bike it was running and starting well, I've ridden it to work every day and every cold morning its started fine, it cranks a little slower than the old CBR250R out the back lol. But i went up the coast on friday and got back Sundau morning to find that when I tryed to start the bike, it could barely turn over :(. My first thought was ah god a new battery. Got my mate to pickup a new battery, fitted it with the auto electricans that work next to us, not that i know nothing about it but i dont have my home work shop at my IT center. We had it charging, left it for hours, came back and still the same result. Jump started the bike off a high power car battery, the bike started. I let it idle for a while and then rode home from work. After i goth ome which took an hour, i turned off the bike went to start it and the same thing, could barley turn over :(.

I got my mate to take the battery back and get it changed for another new one. While this battery was on charge we pulled the battery out of my dads CBR600F3 that i was riding to get to work in the mean time, put it in and the same thing, could barley crank over. We put the battery back in his CBR, started first go with the bike cranking over fast and strong.

I'm now suspect of either the starter relay or the starter itself. Any advise would be grealty appriciated!!!!
