my fzr 1000 has a problem with either the cdi or ignition swith....the bike will not rev over 4000 rpm sometimes then i can turn it off and straight back on again and the problem goes away.....is it the ignition?? or the cdi???? anyone else had this??? the bike is a m reg ru the ignition has a 2 plug connection any help i would be gratefull cheers haydn

sounds more like the exup valve needs stripping, cleaning, greasing, setting correctly. don't overtension the cables.
