Hi new boy to the yam owners club been riding for abount 8yrs had a new 2008 r6 in march after riding cbr600f but r6 has a engine rattle is this a common thing on yams or is it just mine any advice is much needed

Ive opted for something rather more sedate these days

there is nothing wrong with a good thrash but when your ride rattles its worrying

Welcome Shaneevan. Being of the old geezer/git generation, I opted for a 2005MY R6, before the track tool with indicators was launched. I tried the R6R but found it too focussed for a man of my limited means/bravery. Still, the '05 was a riot.
