Posted June 22, 200816 yr I HAVE PUT INTO MY YX600 RADIAN, AN ENGINE FROM A FZ600 1991. IT ISN'T RUNNING RIGHT, IT'S THE IGNITION TIMING. THERE A REAL LUL SPOT IN THE POWER, BETWEEN 3-4 & 6. DEPENDING ON WHAT GEAR YOUR IN. IT'S ALL ELECTRONIC I BELIEVE, NOT A POINTS SYSTEM. AND I BELIEVE POSSIBLY THE PROBLEM MAY BE CAUSED BY STILL USING AN E.C.U FROM THE ORIGINAL BIKE YX600 AND IT'S NOT THE RIGHT ONE FOR THE SIMILAR ENGINE WHICH HAS GONE IN. THE FZ600. June 22, 200816 yr This is really DoDo land stuff. When you change an engine and put in a completely different one, it might be a good idea to change the engine ecu as well.
