Hi,

I have a FZ6 (08) when working away during the week and a XJ600N at home (this the wife knows about).

Anyway the XJ has a downshift issue. When slowing down I have to stamp on the gear shift to get into gear.

Does anyone have any pointers as to hat could be causing this as it takes all the enjoyment out riding.

    Does this mean a new gear box or can I strip and recon the existing one??? Where is the best plcae to buy the required parts or gearbox???
