Posted June 15, 200817 yr Hi! I'm completely new to this forum, and to the motorbike world for that matter... I have just bought a 1983 Yamaha xs400 - 12E. Unfortunately, the tach wire is broken. It seems kind of hard to get a new one (at least in Norway, where I live). Do any of you know if the xs400 tach wire is compatible with any other (preferebly newer) bike models? - Or where I might get a new "original" xs400 tachometer wire. Thanks for any answers.
