Any one done any performance mods to a 2006 Yamaha xt250

I read an article somewhere where they removed the puny exhaust tip - but ours seems to be welded in - must be for compliance purposes.

Anyway interested in seeing if these little bikes can be improved.

I removed the whole baffle out of mine.. its just one little screw down at the tip of the exhaust

it sounds more weed wacker esk..

but I can deff. tell a difference in performance.. it is a little more touchy.

other then that I covered it with silver flames.. and well everyone knows that flames automatically make you go faster.
