I have a '99 Yamaha YZF Thundercat and use it to comute to work.

This evening when I got home, I noticed that there was a small amount of green lube leaking from the rear of three overflow tubes on the off side of the bike - sorry to be vague but i have not had the bike long!

It was only two or three drops and has now stopped. I have not noticed this before and it concerns me a little - I cannot find what these over flow tubes relate to in the manual.

Is this normal or should i get it looked at??

I travel around 16 miles from work which is quite a quick ride.

Thanks in advance!!!

I myself had a cat and by the deciption of the fluid it sounds like coolant. If I remember correctly the three overflow tubes are fuel (from float chambers of carbs), Coolant overflow from radiator pressure cap and coolant overflow from expansion tank. I wouldn't worry to much, it may just be over full and will lose what it doesn't need. Take a look at the expansion tank and see what level the fluid is in that. It's located behind the panel below the seat on the right hand side of the bike. Hope this helps
