TZR125

Hi there,

I just wondered if anyone had any advice about buying a cheap TZR125?

I've got the option of buying a cheap 1992 TZR125 from a friend of a friend of a friend etc... I've just got my CBT and want to get my full license (got a DAS course booked early August) so I want to get a run-around to get some practice in. Unfortunately if I buy it, it'll be on the promise that the bike is OK as I can't get to where it's being stored to test drive etc. It's got 4 months left on MOT. I've been told "it smokes a little but all 2 strokes do". Has anyone got any experience of an old TZR125 and if there are any pitfalls/problems I should ask about?
