sleezeydog
Hi All I'm a brand new member as I am to owning my YP125 Scooter, novice does not start to explain my ignorance! Now let me explain my problem, it was inevitable that I would get a puncture and I thought that it would be a relative easy matter to remove the rear wheel. So I have looked and decided that the exhaust needed to be removed and have done this. Now it looks to me as if I need to remove the hub centre nut and the rear brake caliper, which I hope, will allow me to then slide the wheel off and thus get the wheel and tyre to a repairer. Hopefully I will get this sorted out without doing any irreparable damage but any help would be greatly appreciated, but this has caused me to think that a repair manual would be most useful as I brought the bike 2nd hand with no handbook and if anyone can suggest a good manual and where is the best place to obtain it? Thanks in anticipation of any assistance.
sleezeydog
Hi All The last question regarding removal of the rear wheel from a YP125. which was 18 months ago, did not get any replies, so it does not surprise me that there were no answers regarding my one. No problem, as I got it off and the tyre replaced but it was a blessing in disguise because when I took the rear brake calliper off I found the pads to be almost none existent and was able to take the evidence to my local Yamaha dealer, who gave the bike a full service less than 3000 miles ago and ask them how this was possible? Anyway all has been resolved and I was up and running by the start of my evening shift at Tesco's. Any answers regarding the manual would still be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
