Perhaps no one with a DT400 has read your post yet! I have a DT175MX, there is a bolt on each side of the bike towards the back, remove these bolts, lift the back of the seat slightly and then slide the seat backwards to release it. When seat is removed you can see the bolts that hold the fuel tank on, remone these bolts and slide the tank backwards to release the locating boss at the front of the tank...Then lift off the tank Not forgetting to disconnect the fuel line from the carb or fuel cock Dont know if yours is like this but may bear similarities Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
