Posted May 28, 200816 yr Hello and greetings from Spain. Not a bike owner myself but my son is and has lost his bike key! He is off to OZ in a couple of weeks and wants to sell the bike (not without a key he won't). Ignition barrel quite worn so we have a key that fits, seat lock never has been a good fit and it can be taken off, fuel tank is the problem. I have seen a replacement cap on ebay - can anyone tell me is it just a case of undoing the eight hex bolts and bolting on the replacement cap? Sorry, have just found mention of a similar topic - looks like the answer is no then ...!
