so i'm going to split my cases and install the trans i bought.

i bought the Yamabond 4. and i'm all set.

question is: when applying the bond do i do both sides of the cases and sandwich it together or just one side...

is there nothing in the destructions to guide you

use acetone to clean both surfaces.

Go in extremely thin ( use a syringe and tiny bead , then finger it over the cleaned surfaces)and let both sides skin for a full minute or so, will seal great and still allow the case halves to be easily seperated later

i did'nt, but i suppose you can just to even up what's on the cases

how long should i let it cure before starting it up?

dab it with your fingers , itll tack fairly quick, yamabonds great stuff. I use a small paint brush. Im not sure of your motor but some install upsidedown easier, that way you dont have to hold crank to pin holes.

it ok i got it off by heating the gear,

put it back on using a socket.
