pocketrocket40 Posted May 21, 2008 Share Posted May 21, 2008 hi i have just bought my second fj1200 a 1987 e reg model us import im wanting to do a oil change the manual says use 10w30 oil local dealer says 10/40 can anyone recoomend a oil to me the bike seems to be running very hot ? Welcome to the frey! You can use a 10 winter/40 or 50, what ever is available. This should be mineral, I believe. Why do you think your bike is running hot?
