Posted May 20, 200816 yr I've got an old xs360. I've stripped it down to nothing, and I'm putting it back together the way I want it. I'm just confused about the way the voltage regulator is wired in. I've got the finned rectifier for my generator attached to the generator with the stock connector. The generator has four wires (3 whites, 1 yellow) that plug into the harness, the yellow terminates there, and the three whites go into the rectifier. From there I have a RED and BLACK wire coming out of the rectifier. Do I just wire that straight to the battery? Where do I wire in the voltage regulator?
