Hay you can be and show intelligence, well done,
Streetfighters were a development from the cafe racers of the 60's,in the UK, again you took a stock bike and tried to make it faster and lighter, the early fighters looked very simillar to the original bikes, but were lighten, tune and better suspension fitted, slowly the trend turned into what it is now, the Brit scene is still big engines, better suspension, turbos, niros, the US scene is more customised, they still go for the shiny paint and chrome look.
The Germans again go for power and handling with a slightly differnt look.

Laugh I almost died.
Thanks for taking such a dislike to my bike, I call it Marmite
. I have never slagged off another bike, I may not like that style of bike and might find them boring, but because you don't like someone's bike that is not an excuse to be churlish and F*****G pig ignorant, I see from your profile that you are still very young and have only owned 2 bikes, both slow cruisers. When you grow up, and have owned/ridden/rebuit a few more bikes you may have the ability to respond as you have. I would love to give your bike some comments but only having one small photo its not easy.
BOBBERS:- An American style of bike from post WW2, normally an ex army Harley bobbed(stripped) of any unused metal work to make them lighter and faster. See also American Hot Rods
Halfords:- Front lights, leds for running lights, recent indicators, horns, paint, filler, fibre glass. sanding paper, rubbing compound, polish.( I have a trade card good discount)
Ebay:- End can, rear lights, damaged tank( repaired and filled) loom(chopped and shorten) top yoke(strengthen, drilled and switch housing removed) Risers,Bent rear subframe(chopped and straighten) damaged front mudgaurd(repaired and chopped) brake reservoir, brake/clutch levers, handle bar grips. remote switch for ignition. Mirrors. Yamaha stickers. Hel brake lines.
All other stickers and tank pad from Lethal Threats.
Busters :- handle bars.
Rear seat fairing is home made.
Bud can is an overflow bottle for the radiator, cable tied on as nowhere to easilly fit a bracket (this was fitted for fun, sense of humuor required)
All original parts are stored in my loft incase I sell the R6.
The headlight have modified wiring so they both work on main beam.
As before I have made brackets, fairings, polished bits, painted everything myself, and it was good fun doing it because I can.
WTF are ear lights??
Ever heard of spell check

You mean it's a Cruiser?
I don't like Harleys.
I bough the Drag because I liked it best of all.
Nothing to do with how much money I have and even if I was rich as feck, I'd still not buy a Harley - For the one reason that I've not found one I liked.
What you riding? R6? Kawasaki wannabe clone!!
Power Ranger junk! Look at me, look how fast I can crash!
Do you have a Rossi haircut as well? :-)
But seriously, so what. The whole point is to have the bike you like, regardless of who makes it. Just because Harley are THE big name in Cruisers, doesn't mean we all want one...
Agree with mr T. I've yet to find a Harley as pretty as a well sorted Draggie. While bobbers aren't quite my bag, I can appreciate the "stripped" ethos. And HDs *are* expensive - to buy, to fill up, to service, and to accessorize. And you really are paying for a badge more than anything. it's not like you're buying exceptional build quality or reliability.
Oh, and an R6? I bet you love changing your tyres every 6 months! Has it tried to kill you yet? :-)
Do you ever check out members pics before you post anything, You accuse me of riding a clone, and its obvious to anybody that cruisers are not clones like other every other cruiser around, if someone is going to make a bobber they should look at the US sites as this is where this look came from, high cowhorns and a single seat do not make a bobber. If I ever want to buy a cruiser type bike I will buy a Triumph twin as these in my humble opinion look and sound better.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, Sorry guys but if you want a HD clone try a Victory or maybe even a Triumph.
yes i want to ride fast, corner, and stop quickly. I am 60 plus so cannot easily ride a sport bike, so I played. No bolt on goodies, no custom shop job, just my time and the fun of doing my fing.

I haven't but it will alter your speedo accuracy, change the steering characteristics (steer slower) and you should tell your insurers.
speedo is run of a gearbx senser. Having done some more research the rolling radius is approx .35 of an inch and the mudguard clearance is approx 1 inch, I think I will take a chance as M&p are flogging a pair of BT 014s for £139 with a 70 profile, anyway the wife has assured me that 3/4 inch shouldn't make a difference if I use it right
-
Hi, has anyone tried a 70 profile on the front of an 2002 R6, I need new tyres and the 60 profile is often more expensive or not available.
Please I know tyres are black and round and there is one on the front and one on the back.

since I turned by bike into a streetfighter I have become invisible to 95% of other bikers, I still nod, wave, flash, shout, but they still can't see me. SOB SOB SOB.
Or is it like driving a german sports car? 911 turbos can wave to anybody if their feeling kind, 924 can only wave to other 924s or MGs.

Lesson learnt.
If it between you and a pig, never try to defend yourself, the pig will alway win regardless of the facts.
The copper had the wrong road road on his statement, knew nothing about DTi guidelines, did not know how to target a bike, could not say what part of the bike or me he aimed at. At the distance he clocked me at I was in a dip in the road and had pictues that did not show the bike in the ...dip, he swore he could see it but could not say how much he could see, even though he was targetting me with his laser? He stated under oath that he said nothing after he cautioned me but admitted to mentioning my rear number plate and the colour of my bike when questioned.
He also had the superpower of being able to see a vehicle at 370 mtrs and instantly knowing it was speeding when it was coming directly towards him.
The magistrate said as he was a PC of 18 years experience none of that mattered but only the speed reading he had taken.
Truth will never be taken into account.
Cost of this lesson
£625 and 4 points.
This is a free and fair country.
2nd lesson just speed and enjoy it, at least you know the fine will be honest.
Last thing, in 46 years years of riding this is the FIRST time I was NOT speeding, I saw the pig 150 mtrs before he clocked me. When I had been done for speeding I was speeding , shruged and took the fine.
