£7300?.......Just think if that was translated to Dollars........it's be $14,369.42

Hearing tales like this makes me glad I ride a 25y/o XT  ......where my registration only costs me $35 every 2 years B) ....

& my Insurance runs me only $120 a year :thumb:

I dont want to put you off or anything......but you do seem to have forgotten:

petrol, tyres, services, and all that trick kit you're gonna be desperate to purchase immediately.

But its not about money mate, that £7300 will be instantly forgotten as soon as you twist the grip on that R6!!! There aren't many feelings better than 0-60 in 3.3 and 0-100 in 7.2 !!!!!

BUY BUY BUY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh it bought. I should have it later this week or early next week :D

Passed the theory today so that that out the way. DAS is now booked.

As for the other costs they werent overlooked that was just simply showing what it had cost me up to this point.

As for 0-60 and 0-100 :blink:B)

The £298 quote was for the 02 plate TPFT. After being messed around by the dealer I have now purchased an 04 plate R6. This is now £403 Fully comp. Starting from when i collect it. Should I pass the test on Tuesday.

The quote is from MCE insurance.

If anyone want a quote dont use there online system. Give this guy an email and say you were put in touch with him by Tomo off Streetrace.

[email protected] He is team manager for the modified car section but will also sort blinding deals on bike insurance.

Hope to help.

I just renewed my insurance policy on my winter bike - a GSX400, total cost £47.00

There is an upside to getting old, and bog off I am not telling you how old!

Dont worry about how much you spent on biking, you would only be pissing up against the local pub wall if you wernt out on your bike and the only thing you get to show for that is a dodgy liver.

i know how you feel, but if you look back in a few years and think of all the good times that you WILL have, it will all be worth it. there is no comparison and you only live once.

I would never think of doing that

I was amazed to say I got 56MPg from the R6 out of my first tank. I thought that was far too good. Think I should be aiming for 30  the first time i ever thought a fuel consumption has been too good lol.
