I've not been out on mine all week, I'm waiting for bearings for my swingarm to turn up (I currently have a hardtail Thunderace! lol).
Sadness...

this is why i go out early in the mornings. im usually up between 5 and 6am, so i can get a 2 or 3 good hours in before the roads start filling up. and by then my old joints are usually ready to call it a day anyway 🤣

finally managed to get out for a ride Saturday evening. my route took me through Hants, Wilts and Dorset. the traffic was light and the temperature dropped to a comfortable level about 8:30.

i took some pics by Fovant badges. a landmark between Salisbury and Shaftsbury.

No, not getting time to do it...
Think I'm just going to drop it into Padgetts and have it done.

went out with a mate to Southport carousel

Took it really easy as too warm and the car drivers just CBA driving sensibly. Avoided a few situations if I'd been a bit faster. Lots of harvesters and tractors out too ATM

i go out after 7:30pm to avoid traffic, or before 9:30am on weekend mornings.

taking it easy preserves your licence and allows you to enjoy the scenery 👍

my last ride i decided to treat the bike to some salt air. stopped at Barton on sea to enjoy the view across the Solent to the isle if Wight.

the car parks had cleared out a lot by the time i got there. its always nice to avoid other people  when your a miserable old git like me 😆

my last jaunt found me leaving the A/B roads and exploring some country lanes. one of the great things about biking in the UK, is all the lovely places waiting to be discovered once you leave the beaten track.

passed through a scenic little village called Wherwell at one point. my pics dont do it justice-
