I work as an Mechanical Fitter/ Machinists in a nickel processing plant on a 2 day 24 hour break 2 night and 4 days of roster. very good coin too. have lots of time to play on all things that go offroad. also like to get up to mischief with the kids as well. got a bike im rebuilding for the oldest one now, its a ( dont laugh at the brand) honda QR 50. picked it up for a carton of piss and only needs a new set of rings but have stripped it completely to powder coat the frame ect.

look forward to hearing from everyone in the near future.

I've been a CAD Drafter for the past 15 years......Love to draw since I was 4yrs. old ;)

I'm currently trying to get my own Drafting Service bizness off the ground.......Teaming up with a good mate of mine who's got a degree in IT & has his hands on a government contract for some Federal TelCom buildings......which usually equates to some pretty decent $$$$ B)

Been an avid Daily, year-round 2-Wheeler for 20 years now....also enjoy keeping my 23yr. old YamaHauler (GMC 1/2 ton Pick-up truck) on the road. I've had my share of cars but really have NO use for 'em anymore......A good truck & a few bikes is all I need........& of course my SKI's B) ......the 1 other activity I've been enjoying since I was 5yrs old. Am currently in search for an XR80 for my 8yr. old lad who can't wait to get back on a bike since his PW50 got stolen last year.

Watchin' your young'un get his 1st taste of the motorized 2-Wheel world is definitely 1 of life's memorable pleasures. :)

Hey guys,

I'm a student at the moment so I don't earn a crust as such I just get given money buy the government - which I have to pay back.

As a part time job for the last 4 years I am a SMART repair technichian. Think car body shop only doing smaller more specialised jobs whilst not having to paint the whole side of a car :P .

For everyone's interest I have resprayed a CBR 1000 completely, repaired fairings on my own bike and numerous alloys for motorcycles in my time working so do have knowledge of repairing cosmetics on bikes.

Regards

Robbie

i'm an dept head greenkeeper at a local golf course. been doing that since i was 17(i'm 23 now). worked in a paint shop for a summer when 16, worked in a garage for a short time between 16/17. crap money so i left. in my spare time i go running/swimming, sea kayaking in summer(along with camping trips), riding/building bikes, watching bike racing, fishing an odd time, very into music eg the who, the jam, stone roses, ac/dc. arctic monkeys, oasis etc.

Well i watch cartoons and old movies for a living and after 6 years am being made redundant in 51 days :( God knows what i'll do afterwards, hopefully something without nightshifts.

Only been riding for about 3/4 years now. I spend most my time and money playing with my car (pictures and stuff in my website). Oh and i've just taken up golf and snowboarding.

Totally off topic I know but I've never ridden my R6 yet... how does the bike compare to the Sup in terms of acceleration/top speed etc? You stock, bpu, single???

Im BPU++ or close, running about 450bhp. TBH it's not as good as when the car was stock and also the reason why im looking at an R1. I used to get out the car and on the bike and think "damn the bikes fast". Now i do it and im thinking it only just feels a little faster :( I still love the bike as it different on the roads to the car.

I have the worlds most boring job (systems admin and development with SQL database query writing thrown in) but the money's ok.

Actually seriously thinking of a career change before it gets too late (I'm 27 now). Either moving into web development (4 years of part time study  ) or living the dream and becoming a bike mechanic - again, part time study but I'd need top pick up a few old bikes for the practical stuff, restore them probably. How much fun does that sound?

Anyone know what the pay's like for a bike mechanic? Also, anyone done or know of any courses on this?
