My sisters husband was out on a ride with his best mate when he was hit by a seagull (doing a rate of knotts) which its beek impailed his leather jacket and punchered his shoulder! nasty little feekers there are.

Years ago, I was riding home on my Honda 250N from Northampton to Market Harborough after finishing a night shift at about 4am and I had to actually stop because there was a owl flying down the centre of the road about 3 foot of the ground, just cruising along.

I head butted a pigeon at 40mph a year or so back. Snapped my visor and gave me concussion. The worst part was the horrible dust stuff that came off it. Tasted nasty.
