Sierra Vista Rider Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 Bought a new (still in the box) 2009 TMAX with no operator's manual (they are ordering me one). How do I get the seat open? I tried moving the key to the seat open position, pushing, pulling, turning, etc. with no luck. What's the trick? The guy that delivered the TMAX by truck opened it right up, but I wasn't paying attention. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tulsertoma Posted November 18, 2011 Share Posted November 18, 2011 Put the key in the ignition, turn it to the left, do NOT push the key inward, just to the left. If it doesn't pop open, push down on the seat and try again. Sometimes it can jam if too much stuff is crammed into the storage. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
