I'm 25, female and love my fazer. I live in north lancs and like to go out to play round the lakes at weekends. I'm only 5'4" and 8 stone and apparantly look like a little kid on my bike. If anyone ever sees me struggling moving my bike around feel free to offer a hand, I'm no feminist and am not embarassed to admit it's hard moving something 10 times your own body weight.

I prefer bikes to cars but my other half has a kit car company so I have to learn about all of that stuff too.

  • 3 years later...

25 Males Live in Surrey. Bought my R6 about 3mths ago. Dragged my girlfriend out at 4am on a Saturday morning to drive 5hrs to Wales to pick up my baby. Was worth every minute of the drive.

Drive a 3 Series BMW Motorsport (don’t hold it against me) and simply love to drive and ride bikes. Been driving since I was 14 and had a passion for bikes since about 12 when me a few pals used to go to the woods and ride his PW50 and get chased by the law. Since then have owned a TZR125RR, was a race production bike, I remember phoning Yam for parts for it and their response was “How did you get that bike”. Was a little pocket rocket, gotta love those 2 smokes. Since then had a CR125 & a CR250 and now the R6 which is a beast.

Work in recruitment specifically around the Investment Management industry so any of you guys or girls in the finance world want a new job I’m your man.

A few pics

lol

I found 50cc quite tedious... getting overtaken and all so i packed in after it got stolen and went to trials riding which i enjoyed thoroughly

Geared is the way forward and DT's are a mint bike ...

Dont forget that the test changes in october 2008 so pass your test before then !!!!!

Hi everyone I'm Kenny a 31 yr old male from Belfast N.Ireland and new to the biking scene!

Myself and my partner seen this bike for sale at a local bike shop and i fell in love with it after driving past it over the period of a few days we decided to stop and enquire about it it turned out to be a Yamaha yzf r6 2003 4,750 miles on it and one owner for sale at a cost of £3,800.

It was my dream to own something like this and after a few discussions we decided to contact the finance company we re buying a car through to see if i could get it. Unfortunately we were refused we could understand it the car was nearly paid out and i thought it was crazy, my heart sank!

A few weeks passed and the bike was still for sale

Then one day my partner picked me up from work and told me that our boxer dog Shelley had went nuts out in the back garden and trashed the place. I got home from work raging and the kids told me what the dog had done. I went to the back door not knowing what i was going to find and to my surprise it was my r6! my dream i could nt believe my eyes complete with a new helmet to match I'm still buzzing! My partner either loves me loads or is tryin to bump me off! Either way i love her so much for helping me fulfill my dream.

I'm starting my lessons soon and hopefully my test, freedom on the open road will soon be mine!

Sorry for rambling on but thats the story.

I hope i get the chance to know you all, you seem like a great bunch and be able to give me advice when i need it.

Ill keep you all updated on the lessons and test etc.

any advice for starting off would be great thanks

Kenny
