Ross - I have just restored a 1981 XT250G and have the genuine Yamaha manual. Its black and white text but shows the colour codes, and I can copy the diagrams, scan and e-mail to you if you want if you let me have your e-mail address.

No problem, will try to copy it tomorrow and send it. Do you need any other pages whilst I am at it?

Nick

Thanks for the offer Nick but its just the wiring that's giving me a problem at the moment. I've completed most of the bike with just the electrics to finish but have now found cables around the lighting circuit with no obvious home and the harness I have does not match the Clymer manual diagram. Anything you can copy around this area, eg the voltage regulator under the tank etc would be great.

Thanks again for your help,

Ross

This thread is aincient.

Start fresh with an intro in the new members area. You will get better results that way.

Email addresses in open forum are at best open to spam. Inbox full of animal farm may upset the missus.

Use the pm (private message ) option instead. Much safer.

Welcome to the forum.

I will lock this one so you can start fresh. Saves confusion.
