I have a thundercat with a aftermarket can but the headers are completely rusted.can u get any performance upgrades by just changing the headers and keeping the same can or will it be the same? thunderob Posted December 21, 2008 Share Posted December 21, 2008 Not sure if the downpipes affect performance but i have just replaced the original downpipes with stainless steel pipes from Delkevic. Only £99 from ebay but also available on Delkevic's website. www.delkevic.co.uk. I was a little jubious of cheap pipes especailly as quotes from dealers were £250 plus.
