  1. I have a 99 Tdm 850. Mighty machine. Will never part with it. Fitted it with exup wheels for looks and ease of tyre choice. Exup (89) fork bottoms to take the wheel. A metachex alloy swing arm to take the wheel. Yzf 750 6 pot calipers and a laser 2-1 pipe Have fun.
  2. It's an 08 bike. Return to dealer. Even an import has 2 year Warranty !!!!!!!!
  3. Exup F+R discs are the same as YZF750. Wheels are similar. To use the exup wheels in the YZF 750 you will have to change the Sprocket carrier Bearing and spacer along with the wheel bearings and spacer inside the wheels to suit the larger diameter YZF's wheel spindles. I put Yzf750 wheels in an 89 exup many moons ago by this method. Also put the six speed gaerbox from the YZF 750 into the exup and it made some difference to the top end.
  4. The easiest way around this is . Phone your local Yamaha dealer. Enquire about a set of forks seals or something like that for the bike in question. They'll ask you for the frame number as to identify the correct part for the correct bike. If it aint right, they'll tell you so. If it is okay, they quote you a price for the part. Simple as that !
  5. Hi all. Just found this fourm while trawlin the net for fitting instrauctions for a spyball alarm. As i ride a yamaha, i thought it was my duty to register. I'm in Sunny(NOT) IRELAND I ride an 08 R1 in and a 99 TDM 850 Mods and tuning make me tick. Have just registered. So when i've figured my way around the fourm etc.... I'll post pics of my toys. RIDE SAFE !
