Hey folks.. well i have just traded in my thundercat for a 2000 reg r6
its a cracking bike! pick it up friday

well the sun has finally came out in scotland
Sorted the bike with some new tyres, and the diffrence is night and day !
Got a few goodies waiting to be put on aswell
Went a run tonight here is some pics ( camera phone pics ! )

Hey folks, i am looking to do some moddifications to my thundercat motor. I am wondering if the thundercat shares it engine with any other yamaha?
i am sure it does, i just dont know what
Any help/advice would be great.

She is great to ride, for a 97 reg, the engine feels so tight and smooth. Very happy with her!
Only downside is, i hate the tyres, not my cupa tea. Gona slap some dunlops on asap

Evening folks, Some of you will remember me. Since i got my Honda Hornet i have not posted alot
well i am happy to say that it looks like i will be getting a thundercat very soon! so back to the yammys
I loved my Ybr so i hope the joys of yamaha can come back to me after i betrayed it and went to honda

your clutch cable might need adjusted
and or you might need some fresh oil..

no no no no no to all of the bikes you listed .... they are verry verry uncomfortabe try and get ureself a older bandit 600 or a fazer 600 actuly even a honda hornet but wach the hornets the first ones has bad suspesion that made them skitish in the wet (mum had one)
come to think of it my mum and dad have had all of those bikes lol they liked the bandit best but they are quite heavy
must have just been your mums one... lol
the oem shock on the hornet is alright abit soft in compared to a aftermarket one like mine

you are suposed to get one of the driving aplication forms and select 25kw expiration box and send it back to them
yep i can confirm this is correct. Most people dont get told this when they do their test, but yes this is the case.

yea, you really do need to torque these bolts! does the haynes manual not hve torque settings?
