    Isn't it funny how we are butt-fucked with the price of petrol and hardly anyone makes a fuss.....

    Yet 2 annoying little fuckwits with no talent get through to another round on the X-Factor and the whole country complains.....

    I do like the 950 as well - looks really good. I almost bought one myself but the other half said the 1300 was more comfy for her as pillion and the bikes were the same price so what can you do?

    Get a new other half or make her pass her test so she can ride her own! :lol:

    I know the 2010 version of the 1300 is supposed to have some changes so may bring it more up to date - all chrome headlight, RSTD handlebars as standard, lower riders seat, gloss black frame etc (check out Yamaha's US website for details)

    Be cool to see what it looks like!

    I also like the rear seat being removed but my other half wouldn't have it either!

    I haven't leaned my bike over enough to see if the bars catch the floor, nor do I know how much the boards move by before contact is made. I'll have a look tomorrow & see if I can work out when the bars would catch.?

    I have caught my footboards several times when cornering, but these bikes are so great to ride its easy to forget the boards and bars are so low!

    Nice bikes you got there :D

    But it does make me wonder why Yamaha haven't brought them up to date in line with the 950, which IMHO, makes all the other models in the Star range look rather dated.... but the again im biased cos i have one.... :lol:

    You'll be pleased to hear that Twisted Spanner have now closed their 2nd shop in Matlock but not pleased to hear that even more people have been left without goods after parting with monies. I tend to get told a lot from annoyed customers as I had the misfortune to run a business with Mr Lowe in Birmingham and I am still in an ongoing court case with him for settlement of monies. Ogri never got paid and he left Birmingham after liquidating his former business owing Ogri and a lot of other companies a lot of money.

    Mr Lowe was sentenced to 3 months in 2004 after pleading guilty in a plea bargain in court for 4 ABH charges, 1 common assault and 1 harrassment charge against me and served about 6 weeks of the sentence before being let out in a tag. I was awarded criminal injuries compensation for head injuries received. (Mr Lowe is male, 6'4" 18 stone, I am female 5'4" 9 and half stone.)

    I tell everyone who is owed monies to contact Trading Standards, sorry to hear you were ripped off Goff.

    What a complete fucking shit!!!!!!

    I eventually got my money back, but had to resort to means i would not normally resort to because this man was being a complete twat......

    He is a mountain of a man, that i can vouch for and i hope he gets his just desserts. :angry:

    Yeah possibly -but those adverts are MASSIVE as are their signature images and avatars - it looks untidy, messy and you have to scroll halfway down a page of ads before you can read a fuckin topic!

    If simple safety precautions like "Don't stick delicate pinkies near a moving buzz-saw" are too much for you, then:

    a. Get a shaftie (don't poke your finger in the bevel box while it's running to check oil level) OR

    2. Get an MZ and just pack the rubber gaiters with grease OR

    iii. Get a car OR

    x. Do what a lot of the local Power Rangers do - hand the bike (and your wallet) over to a local dealer for every damn thing.
