    If governemtns werent so damned corrupt there wouldnt be any need for charities.

    What pisses me off IMMENSELY - is that our government is are banging on about how there is no money to help save the lives of our troops fighting a pointless war by providing them with proper equipment - yet all of sudden hey can donate £20 million to Haiti.

    What about our troops with limbs missing and not enough money to give them the best we can?

    What about our troops who have been so severely injured they will need constant care for the rest of their lives??

    What about the children of our troops who have been left without a parent because they have been killed??

    Its fucking bollocks.

    I've not had mine for long - only stuck about 250miles on it so far - but I have noticed a bit of top end rattle - I figure I'll mention it to the garage at the first service...

    Could well be valve clearences - but adjusting them won't void your warrentee surely?

    Its a V-Twin.... they tend to rattle slightly... mine does. :D

    They dont want tents and stuff tha would be USEFUL..... oh no... they want COLD HARD CASH..... so that the goverment over there can spend it wisely. :rolleyes:

    The Haitians will never get the aid that has been paid for cos there is no money to pay for it - millions of pounds that has been donated will disappear never to be seen again....

    Can anyone help.

    I need to find out the owner of a vehicle - quick.

    I know i can write to the DVLA but that will take too long.

    Anyone on here a policeperson or work for the DVLA etc?

    If these vile people are SO affected by the war in Afghanistan and insist on spouting off shite about our soldiers invading "their land", then why dont they fuck off back to "their land" and defend it against whatever they think our soldiers are doing, and be prepared to die for their "cause".....

    Hiii, thanks for the welcoming :3 need to the yamaha club :D although don't get my yamaha yzf-r6 for another 3 months, but thought i may aswell register and start being part of the club :) howdy everyone!

    I'd like to point out the forum rules have not been linked at the top. might come in handy having them there (activated via forum admin page) :D

    Welcome to the site.

    Firstly may i congratulate you on our forthcoming ride.

    I'd like to point out that we dont have many rules on here - everyone is pretty much grown up enough to know where the line is and when they shouldn't cross it.

    The site has been running very smoothly for several years now without much of a hiccup thanks very much, and we dont see the need to ram rules and regulations down members throats - they are all grown up enough to decide what is acceptable and what isnt.

    Anyway, as you will come to find ou in due course - i dont stand for any messin......

    Had mine 10 months now and no problems whatsoever. He's sweet as a nut.

    Not doing any mods just yet as it will void me warranty, so am holding out till its ended, besides.... i love it as it is... for now.

    I agree th the speedo being out though - my Tom Tom shows it roughly 10% out too.

    I love love love my bike though - wouldn't swap it for the world!

    I recently sold my Honda Shadow Aero to buy the XVS 950 A

    I am just waiting on the phone call to say "come and get it"

    i fell in love with it the moment i layed eyes on it (a girly thing of corse)

    Vibrant Red...yummmmmy.

    This is all from just sitting on it as well..ive not test rode it. As they didn't have a test bike.

    But, after reading a few forums i thought what the hell. :D

    I rang up before they hit the UK shores - and the dealer rang me as it was being rolled off the wagon. 2 days later i bought it :D

    Right then!

    I popped up the local dealership on saturday...

    The 650 should be on ebay by tonight and I'm taking a short test ride on saturday.

    All being well it'll be mine to ride away before christmas!

    This is gonna be the best christmas EVER! :D

    I have one - bought it new in February

    I Love it

    Compared to the 650 it has tons more grunt - well it will do wont it! :lol:

    In the wet it's great, holds the road no bother and i've had every confidence in it when riding through some shite weather.

    Hauls 2 up fully loaded with tent, panniers etc with ease.

    The seating position is much comfier as the pullback is more on the bars.

    You can chuck it around better than the 650 - i've scraped the footboards several times (once with a pillion :lol: ) cos you forget - it's that light. It has a belt drive too so doing away with the shaft makes it noticably light.

    Haven't done any mods yet as it looks the dogs danglies as i is at the mo - but never say never! Plus i'm waitig for the prices of bits to come down cos being a spanking new model, mods cost the earth right now.

    Very highly recommended from me - if you want to make the trip - come one over and test ride mine if you like :D

    huh.gif what can we do about the cost of fuel as a forum?

    Appoint me as Prime Minister and you lot as my government officials - im sure we can have this country back on its feet in no time......starting with turfing out those fuckin asylum seekers living in a £1.5m mansion paid for by housing benefit and who are raking in £400 PER WEEK in benefits, while our soldiers are in desperate need of equipment that they cannot get due to a lack of funds.

    The Government of (what used to be) Great Britain are nothing but a bunch of leeching fuckwits.

    We went to see Motorhead, The Damned and Girlschool at Manchester Apollo last night - it was awesome!

    Although I have to say that as much as i respect Lemmy, The Damned blew them away!!

    I have been on all the biker fuel protests that I can - Me and LTR went on the first one, and we told folk on here we were going - lots said the were coming ad would meet us and only me and him turned up!!

    I'll continue to go on the protests and do whatever i can to help!!
