  1. what size is your helmet as i have just listed 2 simpson helmets on flea bay a rx fr(full race) and a simpson super bandit both come with 3 visors all brand new and neither of the helmets have been worn ever as i collect simpsons and have 15 of them...they are both 59-60cm fittment and can be found in salonk1-jersey e-bay name. both of these lids are stunning so take a look simon
  2. sex on wheels and then you actually ride one....AWESOME!!! then when mastered the 6... cometh the MIGHTY R1. save those pennies man as i spent 10k on mine with the goodies...but if a smile has a price twas worth evey one of those pennies as i have already broke even. ride safe simon
  3. hi bud,i had a rs125 and sure it was quick as fuck full arrow de-cat,factory de-restricted,spent a fortune on the crappy,un-reliable sack of italian shite, parts took 100 years to arrive when i stuck it down the road as most of italy sleeps for 3/4 of the year....shit kickers. now have the legendary 2008 R6,rammed to the max with all the goodies a fine japenese machine like this should have and these same parts(within reason) can be aquired for the r125 when you have passed out of the accadamy in a year.parts if needed are here at the speed of sound and once you own an r125 then r6 then r1 when you are ready......Best cash you will ever spend!! and you will never even want another machine.......in my humble, tried, tested, regretted opinion!!!! my excuse can only be the fact the r125 was not in production when i bought my poo prilla and got to agree.....fuck 2 stroke italian shite.....just burn some cash....i did!!! hope this helps and may the force be with you. ps...send me some pics of your r125 once you have bought and removed that surfboard of a tail fin....FAR to big even for a 70's plank down newquay mine never made it out the showroom when i bought my r6 and it looks even worse on the r125. simon
  4. Hi,All i got to say is if you looking for the best 600cc sports bike with a good pull go test the R6, BUY ONE (after test riding all the rest and realising that the R6 kicks the ass out of all the others) spend a bit of the cash you save on not paying over the odds on one of the others getting a decent pipe, filter and power commander and drop a couple teeth on front sprocket, map it all up and you WILL be a very happy owner of the AWESOME!! R6 YAMAHA FOREVER Simon
  5. www.proshift.com Hi, I am considering fitting one of these to my 08 yamaha R6 and was just wondering if anyone who currently has one or knows someone with one fitted could give me a little feedback on how the performance/reliability are etc Price quoted best part of £1200 so any information greatly received...good or bad. Thanks in advance guys and gals and ride safe simon
  6. I always thought it was a action taken by somebody when it was there round...safely insuring his/her money stayed in there wallet/bra as they body swerved the bar But then it might just be me with tight mates
  7. Hi,I had a look at both the zero grav and the puig....and then bought the genuine yamaha one. just looks like it should be there more than the other 2......not much help i know but you did ask
  8. i,ve had loads of lids and at the moment i have a hjc lordship... carbon fibre so its nice and light...looks deadly and the padding around cheeks and breath deflector are superb...easily the best fitting lid i've had to date and i've had some stupidly expensive shoei and arai helmets. try one on and see what you think sy
  9. OUCH!!! But on the + side your ok... few bruises...sore nuts...but surely an insurance pay out...you should buy an R6 to accompany the FZ...but i am a bit biased Glad you are ok though seriously.. a fellow i know in bristol who draws/drew my tattoos for me has just been killed in a similar sort of thing...(lowrider)...through rather than over unfortunately. stupid/blind car drivers have a lot to answer for sometimes Easy!! sy
  10. i've got pirelli dragon supers on my R6...awesome when there nice and warm
  11. Biker Heaven is where he will be!!!....hopefully haggling with the big man on swinging us bikers a better deal on the weather XS360 R.I.P
  12. with a stomach like that i would have given you 11 but they only go up to 10
  13. Hi mate,Your friend is right it is just the rain, happened to me the other day gave me a right fright. As for the temp that is perfectly normal also mines been up to 107 in the traffic so no worries all round. simon
  14. hello, simple answer r6.....pass your test and ride all 3,and in no time i'm sure you'll see, honda and suzuki we will all agree, are as exciting as a cup of wee. the awesome r6 is the only route too true happiness simon
  15. GO BUY ONE!! The R6 was my first big bike,Bought it new in january this year and i would say its taken me till now to feel really at one with tne beast. Its a truely awesome machine and is a bit of a handfull true but if you take your time to get to know it well many happy times will be yours.....you dont need forgivness...you need to buy the bike you want. Good luck with your test!! Simon
  16. what year is your bike
  17. ha ha once you start it will never end. i see you already got a cowl comin so forget that message i just sent you fella..out of interest how much you payin for that cowl m8 simon
  18. hello again, Lost the pillion pegs, added a set of ASV short brake and clutch levers and stuck with a set of arrow rearsets.....awesome bits of kit. oh and full set of R+G crash bungs(dont bother fitting lower ones unless you are trackdayin it they well restrict movement of foot to floor at the lights)and the absolute must R+G tail tidy to sort out that oversized surfboard fin the R6 has on as standard....yuk!! Much better riding positions can be obtained with the rearsets, and i can get a single seat cowl for your graphite baby no worries.
  19. TOTALLY AGREE WITH THAT...if the young un has been payin attention during his/her year on the 125 you would hope that they have realised a little of what biking is all about.....apply that with an easy right wrist and any 17 year old should be capable of the transition.....but there will always be 1 or 2 in a 100 who will learn the hard and painfull way that bigger bikes can mean bigger off's .....c'est la vie
